1st Annual - 100 to None Sandal Drive

I came up with the idea of donating sandals and flip flops to children in need. I started 100 to none Sandal Drive May 2011. I told family, friends and Co-workers about donating to children in foster care and a HIV camp. My goal was to get 100 sandals and donate them to the children. The out pour was great! There was more than 150 sandals donated! I was so happy to see everyone helped. The sandal drive is something I plan to do every summer and pray that it gets bigger.

These children are in need all year long. If you want to donate clothes, shoes, and school supplies.

Our History

In 2011, Founder of 100 to None Jaye Freeman decided to start a sandal drive helping children in need. She noticed that people donate a lot of clothes but in the summer there is lack of donations of sandals which are not costly.

That summer she talked with family, friends, and coworkers telling them she wanted to collect 100 brand new sandals and donate to children in need. She started to look locally at places to donate foster cares and special summer camps. Jaye found 3 places to donate the sandals to, collecting over 200 sandals.

These donations were such a great success Jaye started donations that September for school supplies. The school supplies were donated to local churches that were supplying children in their community with school supplies.

100 to None is so grateful that people showed up with sandals, school supplies and most of all a sharing heart.

100 to None continues every spring with a bigger goal.
